The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe needs to keep his hands up - Pommi had a free shot at his head there.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Monroe.

Pommi sends Monroe crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pommi is motioning to the referee to let Monroe up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Monroe is rocked!
Monroe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Oh Monroe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Monroe tries to get into range but Pommi steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Monroe! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Pommi scores the big KO victory!
