Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farofa tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Maksymilian Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Farofa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gracie's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Farofa throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
You can see the frustration on Farofa's face as Gracie controls the position.
Farofa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Farofa felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gracie hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Maksymilian Gracie was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
