Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darius Moran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Tokiyaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darius Moran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Tokiyaka !
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tokiyaka closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Moran's guard.
Moran might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tokiyaka has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Moran is proving hard to escape from.
Moran wants to sweep but no luck.
Tokiyaka would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Tokiyaka throws a big elbow that misses.
Tokiyaka tries to free his leg and advance position but Moran is retaining full guard.
Tokiyaka controls from within his opponent's guard.
Tokiyaka loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Tokiyaka has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tokiyaka is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tokiyaka controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Tokiyaka drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Moran holds on and takes a little breather.
Moran has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Moran could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tokiyaka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moran swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tokiyaka is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Tokiyaka looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Moran has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Tokiyaka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moran swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tokiyaka stands and steps away. Moran gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Moran is trying to maintain the position but Tokiyaka is very close to passing his half guard.

Moran trying to hold on to Tokiyaka 's head to control him but Tokiyaka postures up.
Moran wants to get back to full guard.
Tokiyaka is taking a breather. Moran says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Tokiyaka thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tokiyaka wants to free his trapped foot but Moran is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Tokiyaka controlling the pace.
Moran wants to improve his position but Tokiyaka is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tokiyaka in particular looking to stall.

Moran is controlling Tokiyaka 's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Tokiyaka seems to be looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Viktor Tokiyaka dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Tokiyaka shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tokiyaka showed some decent athleticism there.
Tokiyaka throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Moran knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tokiyaka on the ground.

Moran shoots in for a takedown but Tokiyaka shows good takedown defense.

Tokiyaka closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moran to the mat! Moran manages to get full guard.

Moran wants to sweep here but Tokiyaka controlling him for the moment.
Tokiyaka not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Tokiyaka 's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Tokiyaka slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Tokiyaka has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Tokiyaka has control of an arm but Moran manages to advance to Tokiyaka 's back!

Tokiyaka manages to escape to his feet.

Moran forces Tokiyaka back against the cage and clinches.

Moran breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tokiyaka decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moran tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Tokiyaka has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tokiyaka pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Tokiyaka looking to secure an arm triangle but Moran defends it well.
Tokiyaka lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Tokiyaka tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Moran is rocked!

Oh Moran is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tokiyaka lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Moran hang on?

Tokiyaka is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Moran is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Moran flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Tokiyaka anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Moran and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Tokiyaka slips an arm under Moran chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Tokiyaka has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Tokiyaka is squeezing on Moran like an anaconda would it's prey. Moran fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Viktor Tokiyaka !
