Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chip Freedom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freedom kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Star Spangled Banner. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freedom misses with a straight right.

Freedom looks to land a combination but Diaz avoids it well.

It looks like Chip Freedom has been cut.
Diaz has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Freedom is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Diaz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Freedom throws a jab when Diaz was well out of range.
Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Freedom moves away.

Diaz connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Freedom jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Diaz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Freedom circles away quickly and effectively.
Freedom misses with a few strikes there.
Freedom clobbers Diaz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Nate Diaz has been cut.
Freedom lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Diaz misses with a few strikes there.

Freedom moves into range and connects with a jab.

Oh Freedom is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diaz seems to have recovered his senses.
A slow jab from Freedom misses its intended target.
Look low, kick high! Diaz uses the oldest trick in the book to send Freedom tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Diaz is absolutely delighted - when Freedom wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
