The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Kimura.
Kimura is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Kimura has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kimura tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Corleone swivels and escapes.
Kimura is looking to clinch.
The fighters circling - Corleone throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kimura has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Corleone uses from the top position.
Corleone controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Kimura is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kimura seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Corleone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kimura is looking for a kimura but Corleone is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kimura to get the leverage.

Kimura is looking to work his way around to Corleone's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Kimura swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Corleone is now in Kimura's guard. A big mistake from Kimura there, giving up the dominant position!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Corleone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kimura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kimura is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Corleone defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Kimura is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Corleone with him. Corleone is trying to defend but Kimura has an arm under the chin now! Corleone grimaces and is forced to tap out!
