Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Rubenstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seto Takiama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rubenstein comes into the arena with Doooomed blaring out of the sound system. Seto Takiama will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubenstein misses with a hook
and Takiama connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Rubenstein drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Takiama bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rubenstein's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Takiama drops back looking for a leg! Rubenstein is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rubenstein manages to kick Takiama off! Takiama jumps back into Rubenstein's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Takiama counters with a three punch combo that has Rubenstein backing up. Rubenstein nods at Takiama to acknowledge the strikes.
Takiama fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rubenstein throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Takiama steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Rubenstein.
