Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pavlo Bilous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maddox scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
You can see the frustration on Bilous's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bilous sneaks back into half guard.
Bilous manages to get to full guard.
Maddox really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bilous. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bilous seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bilous manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Maddox manages to get himself to full guard.

We've been hearing that Bilous has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Maddox can't keep his opponent in guard - Bilous advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bilous drops an elbow to the side of Maddox's head.

Maddox is rocked!
Bilous lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Maddox quite badly. Maddox pulls Bilous in close trying to recover. Bilous postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Maddox on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Maddox doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pavlo Bilous!
A very excited looking Pavlo Bilous made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Gray Maddox stepped up to the mic, saying 'We all saw this coming, am I right?'.
