Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seb Sha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sam Dean has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dean darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sha controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Sha trying to control but Dean postures up.
Sha is holding on to half guard well.
Sha is refusing to be controlled, as Dean sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sha moves into full guard.
Dean trying to control but Sha is working from the bottom.
Sha has his hands on Dean's head, controlling the position.
Dean stopping the sweep attempt from Sha.
Dean wants to stand but Sha has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Dean manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sha on his heels. He'll look to pass Sha's guard now, I'm sure.
Dean must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Sha is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dean throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sha's body to avoid the submission. Sha has instead reached around Dean's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sha arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Seb Sha!
