Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Knapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Pen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knapp comes to the cage accompanied by Go to Sleep. Gregory Pen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knapp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pen manages to avoid it.
Knapp lands a jab to the nose.
Knapp lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Knapp misses with a head kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Knapp defends well and Pen ends up having to push Knapp into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Pen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Knapp looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pen misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Pen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
