The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lugz has time to react.
Lugz blocks a head kick by Murphy.
Lugz fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
It looked like Murphy was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lugz.
Murphy scores with a body shot.
Lugz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Lugz takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lugz or perhaps it was just good defense by Murphy, which made it look bad.
Lugz takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
BOOM! Murphy lands a beautiful left hook that drops Lugz. Lugz tries to recover but Murphy is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Lugz lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

A relieved looking Brendan Murphy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
