Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mertsi Peltola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dragon Warfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peltola blocks a jab.
Good leg kick by Warfist there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Warfist feints and then cracks Peltola's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Peltola down.
Peltola has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Peltola tries to keep at a distance but Warfist has taken the fight into the clinch.

Peltola drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peltola jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Peltola postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Warfist is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Peltola, into his guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
