Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rolland Haynes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joshua Weber!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weber shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Haynes as he avoids it easily.
Weber scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Haynes manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Weber keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Weber has hold of one of Haynes's legs. Haynes is fighting the takedown attempt but Weber gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Weber lands a couple of elbows.
Haynes is rocked!
Haynes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Weber is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Oh Haynes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Weber gets to his feet and stands over Haynes, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Haynes felt that one! Weber unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Haynes from any more punishment!
