The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breese misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Jolly shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Jolly passes the guard and advances to mount!
Breese is in all sorts of trouble here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Breese defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jolly.

Jolly is working for a guillotine from mount but Breese frees his head quite easily.

Breese flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Breese tries to hold on but Jolly postures up.
Jolly punching from mount but Breese doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Jolly throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Jolly is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Breese has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Breese!
Jolly is pulling down on Breese's head to control his posture.

Jolly is looking to stand up but Breese isn't so interested in that idea.
Breese throws a big elbow that misses.
Breese with a flurry of punches that miss.

Breese drops back looking for a leg! Jolly is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jolly manages to kick Breese off! Breese jumps back into Jolly's guard.
Jolly preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Jolly wants to stand up but Breese is controlling him.

Jolly is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Breese has his hands clasped together but Jolly extends and breaks Breese's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jolly.
