Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Deneal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin connects with a leg kick. Deneal looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Martin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Deneal wants to sweep but Martin has passed to side control!
Martin is looking to take a break and control but Deneal is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Deneal definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Martin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Deneal is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Martin.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
