PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hagemanto Saitaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Karel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saitaman comes to the cage accompanied by wanpan men. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hagemanto Saitaman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Karel!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saitaman but Saitaman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Saitaman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Karel shoots in for a double leg but Saitaman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hagemanto Saitaman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Karel.

The fighters circle momentarily. Saitaman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Karel ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Karel no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hagemanto Saitaman will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Karel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Karel wants it to stay on the feet.
A punch lands to the side of Karel 's head but he takes it in his stride.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Saitaman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Karel manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

I would just about give that final round to Jan Karel.
I think Saitaman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
