Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Stewart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Turner!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stewart shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turner but Turner pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Turner.
Turner tries to land a leg kick but Stewart saw it coming and moves away.

Turner tries to sprawl but Stewart drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Turner won't allow Stewart to pass to mount.

Stewart is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turner is just riding it out for now. Stewart eventually gives up the hold.
Turner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stewart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Stewart crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Turner - the referee stops the clock and Stewart gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Turner. Stewart manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
