Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Julio Cesar Neves Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Diddler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Julio Cesar Neves Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kid Diddler!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neves Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Diddler as he jumps to the side.
Diddler slaps away a takedown attempt from Neves Jr, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Neves Jr goes for a double leg but Diddler avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Diddler continues to drive forward.
Diddler feints a counter leg kick.
Diddler has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Neves Jr is landing a low percentage of strikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julio Cesar Neves Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diddler connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Neves Jr's hands.

As Neves Jr backs off Diddler throws a huge counter combo but Neves Jr manages to avoid it all.

Diddler has taken the fight to the clinch.
Diddler connects with a nasty looking knee right to Neves Jr's face.
Neves Jr is trying to drag Diddler to the mat but Diddler just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Diddler has Neves Jr pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Diddler pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Neves Jr tumbling to the mat - Diddler dives into Neves Jr's guard.

Diddler wants to control from the top but Neves Jr keeps moving.

Neves Jr is working to avoid the ground and pound but Diddler connects with a decent elbow.

Diddler is looking to take a break and control but Neves Jr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Diddler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neves Jr is in all sorts of trouble here.

Diddler might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Neves Jr haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Diddler has control of Neves Jr's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Neves Jr regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Neves Jr is defending against the submission attempts here by Diddler.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neves Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Diddler pulls his head out easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kid Diddler dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

It seemed like Diddler was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Julio Cesar Neves Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diddler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Neves Jr as he jumps to the side.
Neves Jr is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Diddler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Neves Jr throws a strike but Diddler rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


Neves Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Diddler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neves Jr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Diddler lands a couple of digs.

Neves Jr is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Diddler rolls with it to try and escape but Neves Jr cranks on the arm and Diddler is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Julio Cesar Neves Jr!
Julio Cesar Neves Jr seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
