The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcmahon's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mcmahon holds on and takes a little breather.

Mcmahon seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
King with a flurry of punches that miss.
King wants to get up but he can't break Mcmahon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

It looks like King might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
King would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

King pivots and extends the arm, Mcmahon falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by King! Well done that man!
