Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Corrigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Underestimated Dillashaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corrigan comes to the cage accompanied by Teardrop. Mark Corrigan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Corrigan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Underestimated Dillashaw!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corrigan avoids the body shot from Dillashaw.
Dillashaw moves in looking to clinch but Corrigan pushes him off.
Corrigan feinted with a counter takedown.
Corrigan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dillashaw.
Dillashaw looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dillashaw throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Corrigan counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dillashaw!
A lull in the action here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dillashaw struggling a bit here.
Corrigan has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Dillashaw!
Corrigan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dillashaw is squirming around, avoiding Corrigan's attempts to control the action.
Dillashaw tries to hold on but Corrigan postures up.
Dillashaw told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Corrigan looking for a guillotine from mount but Dillashaw is having none of it.
Dillashaw is trying to escape the mount but Corrigan keeps good control and instead manages to take Dillashaw's back.
Dillashaw is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Corrigan has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Dillashaw has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Dillashaw is in bad spot here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Corrigan is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dillashaw knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dillashaw for a finish.
Corrigan just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Corrigan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Corrigan tries to keep control of the position but Dillashaw is staying busy.

Corrigan working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Dillashaw is doing well to defend. Corrigan seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Dillashaw is forced to tap and this one is over!
