Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky Scouser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russell Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Micky Scouser!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace throws a leg kick but Scouser moved away.
Wallace misses with a body kick.
Wallace throws a body punch but Scouser moves out of range.
Scouser lands a nice shot that snaps Wallace's head back.
Scouser paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Scouser takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


It looks like Micky Scouser has been cut.
Wallace has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Nelson Fight Camp in the buildup to the fight.
Scouser throws a big shot that misses.
Wallace misses with a low kick.
Scouser looks to score with a jab to the body but Wallace is just out of range.
Scouser finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scouser throws a low kick, looking for Wallace's leg but Wallace calmly moves out of range.
Wallace was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Nice body kick there by Scouser.
Micky Scouser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scouser keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Wallace takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wallace on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Scouser misses with a straight right.
Wallace tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Scouser was well out of range. Poor timing from Wallace.
Scouser wants to counter with a clinch but Wallace pushes him away.
Wallace digs a good hook to Scouser's body.
Scouser misses with a straight left.
Scouser throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wallace on the side of the head.
Scouser on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wallace. Wallace obviously looking to wear him down.
Wallace avoids the body shot from Scouser.
Wallace throws a lazy right hand but Scouser sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Scouser misses with a hook
and Wallace counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wallace thows a leg kick but Scouser checks it
enabling Scouser to counter with a crisp jab.
Wallace throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Scouser fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Wallace checks it well.
Scouser uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wallace.
Scouser let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Wallace throws a body shot but no joy.
Wallace throws a nice inside leg kick.
Scouser scores with a hook.
Wallace slips under a jab from Scouser.
An attempted straight right counter from Wallace misses the target.
Wallace takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wallace rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Scouser scores with a counter punch that sends Wallace to the canvas! Scouser smells blood - he's punishing Wallace with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Wallace has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Micky Scouser!
During a confident post fight interview, Micky Scouser thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
