Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dratzo Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seto Takiama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seto Takiama is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dratzo Halo !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Seto Takiama!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Halo feints and as Takiama raises his hands in defense, Halo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Halo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Halo looking to pass the guard.
Takiama bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Halo 's guard.

Takiama throws a strike but Halo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Halo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Takiama working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Halo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Halo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Takiama throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Takiama looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Halo connects with a couple of short punches.
Takiama is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Takiama keeping moving, preventing Halo from controlling successfully.
Halo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Takiama trying to strike off his back.
Takiama trying to keep a closed guard but Halo is proving a slippery customer.
Takiama has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Takiama is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Halo has gone for a leg lock! Takiama slips out almost immediately though and dives into Halo 's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Takiama wants to pass the guard but Halo is keeping the position.

Takiama drops back, looking for a kneebar! Halo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Halo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Halo !

Halo wants to control but Takiama is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Takiama is trying to get back to half guard.
Takiama on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Halo trying to control the action but Takiama is working from the bottom.
Takiama tries to improve position but can't.
Halo working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Halo lands a decent elbow from side control.
Halo is looking to take a break and control but Takiama is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Halo laying and praying for a moment but Takiama takes advantage and regains half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Halo tries to pass to full mount but Takiama defends it.

Halo goes for a cartwheel guard pass here but Takiama does a handstand and catches Halo in mid air with a triangle! Could it be? It is! It's the triple decker pecker wrecker! The fighters land on the ground with Takiama on top - Halo is already out from the submission! Takiama gives Halo 's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (TDPW) . Seto Takiama!
