Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kay Ector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borin Chim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ector comes to the cage accompanied by Monster!. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chim throws a jab but it's blocked by Ector.
Ector takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Ector closes the distance and clinches.
Chim tries a body shot but Ector blocks it.
A head punch on the inside from Chim fails to land.
Chim can't find room to land a body shot as Ector controls the action.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Chim's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Chim lands a shoulder strike.

Ector breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ector does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Chim lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ector does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Chim fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ector has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Chim postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chim keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ector's head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Ector manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Ector chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chim can pounce on him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chim's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ector is on top in guard.

Ector will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

I would just about give that final round to Borin Chim.
Well Chim has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
