The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huber misses with a takedown attempt - Michaels sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Huber scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Huber is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Michaels is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Huber has hold of Michaels's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Michaels tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Huber cranks the arm and Michaels screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Michaels, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

A very excited looking Mario Huber rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
