The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kunnas scoring well with a low kick there.
Kunnas digs a good hook to Chan's body.
Kunnas throws a nice outside leg kick.

Chan gets a takedown into half guard.
Chan slows the pace down in half guard.
Chan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kunnas's head.

Chan lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Chan scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kunnas wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Chan.

Kunnas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chan on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kunnas is bucking up trying to escape but Chan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Chan postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kunnas in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kunnas to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
