Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Renaldo Mclean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Micheal!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mclean clinches up with Micheal and pushes him back against the cage.
Mclean is trying to break the clinch but Micheal has him pressed against the cage.

Mclean is trying to stall.

Micheal has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mclean regains guard immediately.
Micheal trying to control but Mclean is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Micheal tries to free his leg and advance position but Mclean is retaining full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mclean enables Micheal to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mclean manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mclean is pulling down on Micheal's head. It's preventing any offense from Micheal, at least for the moment.

Micheal stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mclean swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Micheal throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mclean works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Mclean working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Micheal doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Micheal manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Andrew Micheal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Micheal swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mclean displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Micheal throws out the jab.

Micheal drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mclean dives on top into guard.

Micheal takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Micheal is trying to control the position but Mclean postures up.
Mclean wants to stand but Micheal is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mclean stands up from Micheal's guard - Mclean perhaps looking for a knockout.

Micheal closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Mclean manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Micheal keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Micheal wants to stall.

Micheal manages to break the clinch.

Mclean closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Micheal's guard.

Mclean decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Micheal, up you get!

Mclean makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Micheal tries to sprawl but Mclean drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Mclean is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Mclean seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Mclean wants to work for an arm triangle but Micheal is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Micheal is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mclean pulls his head out easily.

Mclean stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

I think Micheal has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
