Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taisto Murkula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mustafa Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murkula comes to the cage accompanied by Forever Angel. Khan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Immortal Technique- The Cause of Death. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mustafa Khan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan ducks under a wild hook from Murkula.

Khan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Murkula throws out a loose jab but Khan uses good head movement to avoid it.
A bone on bone clash there as Murkula blocks the leg kick.

Khan loads up on a big right hand but Murkula slips the punch.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Khan manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Murkula feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Taisto Murkula.
Well Murkula has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Taisto Murkula decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
