The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doubdtfire misses with a series of wild punches.
Doubdtfire fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Doubdtfire uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Day.
Doubdtfire throws a head kick but Day moves out of range.
Day catches Doubdtfire with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A combination from Day does no damage.
Doubdtfire dodges the punch combination from Day.
Doubdtfire lands a leg kick that knocks Day off balance momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doubdtfire throws out a powerful jab.

Doubdtfire seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Day keeping full guard, as Doubdtfire tries to pass.
Doubdtfire trying to control but Day is working from the bottom.
Doubdtfire stays in close to Day's body and controls the position.

Day working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doubdtfire doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doubdtfire manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Doubdtfire wants to control from the top but Day keeps moving.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Doubdtfire is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Doubdtfire wants to control from the top but Day keeps moving.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Doubdtfire not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Doubdtfire throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Lucky Day is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Doubdtfire is looking to land body kicks.
Day chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Doubdtfire can pounce on him.
Doubdtfire fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Day has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Day jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Day doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Day throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Doubdtfire swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Doubdtfire takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Doubdtfire scores with a nice right hand.
Doubdtfire moves out of range of the strikes.
It appears Doubdtfire was looking to counter with a kick there.
Doubdtfire defending well as Day loads up on a big left hand.
As Day tries to get set, Doubdtfire tries to push him back and clinch up but Day manages to avoid the attempt.

Day wants to break free but Doubdtfire has control.

Day is rocked!
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Day throws a punch but it's blocked by Doubdtfire.
Day seems to have recovered his senses.

Doubdtfire pushes Day back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Doubdtfire creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Day's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Day drops to his knees and Doubdtfire pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
