Brophy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Grumpy Song. Bob Brophy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Djin Dawn's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawn tries to bum rush Brophy with a series of wild strikes but Brophy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A little feinted left hand from Brophy on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Brophy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dawn moves away.
Brophy misses with a body kick.
Brophy lands a front kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Brophy misses the target.
Brophy misses with a straight right.
Dawn throws out a counter right but Brophy avoids it with no problem.
Dawn throws a right hand that Brophy ducks under and follows up with a left that Brophy also avoids with ease.
Brophy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dawn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brophy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dawn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dawn misses with a wild combination.
Brophy checks a leg kick.
Dawn misses with a double jab.
Brophy misses with a looping right.
Brophy throws a jab but it's blocked by Dawn.
Dawn staying out of range there.
Dawn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dawn's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Dawn duly obliges.
Dawn looks winded!
Dawn's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brophy under the eye.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dawn blocks a jab.

Brophy drives through and clinches with Dawn against the cage.
Brophy lands a body shot in the clinch.
Brophy lands on the inside with an uppercut.

It looks like Djin Dawn has been cut.
Brophy digs a right hand underneath Dawn's ribcage. Dawn let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Brophy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brophy thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dawn if he has to take too many more of those.
Brophy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dawn manages to avoid it.
Dawn ducks under a wild hook from Brophy.
Brophy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dawn sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dawn is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Brophy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dawn's head.
Dawn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brophy misses with an uppercut.
Dawn moves out of range of the strikes.

Brophy cracks Dawn with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dawn looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Brophy finish him?

Dawn is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dawn steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Brophy. That one must have hurt.
Dawn is still on wobbly legs! Can Brophy finish him?
Brophy fakes the body blow, causing Dawn to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Dawn goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

A relieved looking Bob Brophy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
