Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Cardoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cardoza is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Holy See. Jake Blade has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jake Blade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luis Cardoza!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blade gets a clinch.
Blade makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Cardoza has Blade pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Blade manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Blade throws a punch but it's blocked by Cardoza.
Blade working aggressively here.
Blade lands with a left to the head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cardoza has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Cardoza takes a shot to the head.
It looks like Luis Cardoza has been cut.
Blade struggles to land a body shot inside as Cardoza controls his hands.
Blade creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Cardoza's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Cardoza drops to his knees and Blade pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Blade!
During a confident post fight interview, Jake Blade thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
The defeated Luis Cardoza had this to say: 'I was robbed god damn it.....Jesus christ, this place is hell !!!'.
