Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Barry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonna Spanked (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gonna Spanked!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Allen misses.
Spanked throws a push kick but Allen slaps the foot to one side.
Allen is looking to counter punch.
Allen throws a hook but Spanked avoids it easily.

Spanked misses with a low kick.
Spanked waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Allen.
It looked like Allen wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Good work by Spanked as he checks the leg kick.
Spanked's coach down at Datsik's Dojo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Spanked's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Allen tries to work over Spanked's front leg with a kick but Spanked checks it.
Spanked has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Allen finds it's way round the side to connect with Spanked's head.
Allen jabs Spanked right on the nose. Spanked blinks but takes it well.

Spanked drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Allen has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Allen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Spanked wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Spanked thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Spanked throws a strike but Allen avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Spanked postures up in Allen's guard and throws a big left but Allen blocks it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Allen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Allen throws a body shot but no joy.
Allen takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Allen scores with a hook to the body. Spanked takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Spanked slips a jab from Allen.

Allen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Allen half committed to a counter leg kick.
Allen throws a low kick but Spanked moves out of range easily.

Barry Allen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Allen throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Allen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Spanked connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Spanked paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Allen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spanked manages to avoid it.
Allen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Spanked makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Allen throws a right and a left that Spanked avoids nicely.
Spanked feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Allen's calf.
Allen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Spanked bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Spanked lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Spanked lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Allen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Spanked lands a nice looking body shot.
Spanked tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Allen is able to avoid easily.
Spanked looks to throw the jab but Allen is out of range.

Spanked cracks Allen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Gonna Spanked will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Allen is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Spanked moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
