The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romeiro dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Romeiro is rocked!
Barnes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oh Romeiro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Romeiro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Barnes looks to throw the jab but Romeiro is out of range.
Romeiro fires out a quick counter leg kick but Barnes just manages to avoid it.
Brayden Barnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Romeiro. Barnes does a little dance to reset his feet.

Romeiro avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
As Barnes looks to move away, Romeiro throws a big counter combo bu Barnes just gets out of the way.
A jab lands there for Romeiro.
Barnes misses with a hook.
Barnes swings widly with a right hand
and Romeiro counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Romeiro closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Barnes did well to prevent Romeiro getting side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Barnes has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Romeiro is working away from the top position though.
Romeiro landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Barnes has hold of Romeiro's hands but Romeiro slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Romeiro frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Romeiro connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Barnes wants to control but Romeiro is having none of it.
Romeiro has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Barnes's face.
Barnes regains half guard.

Barnes is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Romeiro is tapping! Great win for Barnes!
