Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leland Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Faldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer comes into the arena with Annihilator - Fun Palace blaring out of the sound system. Faldo has chosen Paparazzi Pone - Man Down as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Palmer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Faldo is trying to keep Palmer in close.
Palmer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Palmer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Palmer bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Palmer goes for a double leg but Faldo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Faldo continues to drive forward.

Faldo lands a left and a right that send Palmer crashing to the mat, dazed. Faldo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Palmer is rocked!
Leland Palmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palmer walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Palmer limp body while Faldo jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

After the fight, Nick Faldo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
