Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Sharpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Count Chocula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Count Chocula!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharpe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ricky Sharpe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sharpe darts in trying to clinch
and Chocula counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Ricky Sharpe has been cut.

Chocula clinches up with Sharpe and pushes him back against the cage.
Sharpe fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Sharpe fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Sharpe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Chocula.
Sharpe jumps guard but Chocula stands there with Sharpe around his waist. Sharpe gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sharpe breaks the clinch.
Sharpe looks for the body kick but Chocula saw that one coming.
Chocula is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sharpe tries for a takedown but Chocula circles away easily
and Chocula counters with a straight that turns Sharpe's legs to rubber! Chocula pushes forward with more strikes and Sharpe goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

In his post fight interview, Count Chocula started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
