The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kawalski under the eye.
Kawalski moves forwards but Gordon connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Gordon closes the distance and pushes Kawalski back into the cage.

It looks like Killer Kawalski has been cut.
Gordon gets through Kawalski's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kawalski pushes off an throws an elbow but Gordon leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Gordon lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Kawalski comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've been informed that Kawalski has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Gordon creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kawalski's defenses.

Gordon lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Gordon lands an elbow that stopped Kawalski in his tracks for a moment.

Killer Kawalski's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Gordon stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Killer Kawalski's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
