Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shoei Braz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Frank Franklin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Frank Franklin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Braz throws out the jab.
Franklin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Franklin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Franklin has his takedown stuffed
and Braz counters with a takedown into side control.
Braz is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Franklin looks calm but he's in trouble here. Braz gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Franklin is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Braz lets go of the hold and Franklin can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Shoei Braz!
