Butts moves out of range as Brunson strikes.

Brunson takes the fight into the clinch.
Butts jumps guard but Brunson stands there with Butts around his waist. Butts gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

It looks like Melvin Butts has been cut.

Brunson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Butts goes for a takedown attempt but Brunson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Doyle Brunson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melvin Butts.

Brunson cracks Butts with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Butts looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Brunson finish him?

Butts's coach down at The Hut - $50 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Butts's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brunson lands a vicious elbow to the side of Butts's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Brunson tries to finish him with strikes but Butts still seems able to defend himself so Brunson steps back and lets Butts get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

That has opened up Melvin Butts's cut even more.

Doyle Brunson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Highland Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
