PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Immortal Technique (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Third Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Technique comes into the arena with Eye in the sky blaring out of the sound system. Third Fist is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Immortal Technique!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Third Fist!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Technique avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fist lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Immortal Technique has been cut.
Fist misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Technique.
Fist slaps away a takedown attempt from Technique, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fist looks to land a combination. Technique sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Fist throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Technique stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fist lands a left and a right that send Technique crashing to the mat, dazed. Fist thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Technique tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fist sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Technique somewhat.
No joy there for Technique, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Technique misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Technique shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Immortal Technique. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fist lands with a cross.

Immortal Technique's cut is getting worse.
Technique fails with a takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fist connects with a body shot.
Fist connects with a single shot there.

Fist lands a big right hand that sends Technique crashing to the mat! Fist stays standing though and waves Technique back to his feet!

Technique is rocked!
Fist uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Technique has time to react.
Oh Technique is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Immortal Technique's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fist moves in close and cracks Technique with a massive right hand! Technique, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Fist!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Third Fist!
Third Fist gave a mention to GREEN!160 in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
