Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grigol Pandahammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen It's not unusual as his entrance music. Grigol Pandahammer had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Grigol Pandahammer!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Jones!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pandahammer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Pandahammer thows a body kick. Jones tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Jones connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Pandahammer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Joness jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jones throws a poor cross that misses
and Pandahammer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pandahammer misses with a jab to the body
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jones looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jones takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Pandahammer slips a straight right by Jones.
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones throws a lazy uppercut
and Pandahammer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Pandahammer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jones. That did some damage!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pandahammer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pandahammer.
Pandahammer scores with a nice body kick.
Jones throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pandahammer was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pandahammer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Tom Jones has been cut.
A shot to the body from Jones misses
and Pandahammer counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jones takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Jones looks winded!
Jones misses with a body shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jones crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pandahammer - the referee stops the clock and Jones gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pandahammer. Jones manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A right-left combo lands from Pandahammer.
Pandahammer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pandahammer lands a big right hand that sends Jones crashing to the mat! Pandahammer stays standing though and waves Jones back to his feet!
Jones is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pandahammer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Pandahammer finish him?
Jones missing with a left hand there. Pandahammer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pandahammer. That's going to slow Jones down.
Jones seems to have recovered his senses.
Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Pandahammer feints and then cracks Jones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jones down.
Pandahammer scoring well with a low kick there.
Jones takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pandahammer avoids the body shot from Jones.
Pandahammer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pandahammer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Pandahammer.
Nice defenses there by Pandahammer.
Jones takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jones lands a slapping body shot.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones misses with a hook. Pandahammer ducked under it nicely.
Pandahammer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pandahammer scores with a nice body kick.
Pandahammer works Jones's body with a nice hook.
Pandahammer drops Jones with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jones looks back up at him and smiles so Pandahammer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jones misses with a hook to the body
and Pandahammer counters with a crisp right that sends Jones to the canvas! Pandahammer follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Grigol Pandahammer!
Grigol Pandahammer is the new light heavyweight champion!
After winning the bout, Grigol Pandahammer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Tom Jones was interviewed post fight and said 'I didn't fight my fight tonight. Sorry I let down the fans. I would like a rematch if Tradition will book it.'.
