The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smo throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like The Sumo has been cut.
Smo is looking to slow Sumo down with leg kicks.
Smo throws a right and a left that Sumo avoids nicely.
Sumo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sumo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Sumo avoids the head kick by Smo.
Sumo steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Smo.

Sumo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smo to the mat! Smo manages to get full guard.
Sumo distracts Smo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Smo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sumo on the ground.

Sumo stands up over Smo, holding on to his feet. Sumo throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Smo is out cold! Sumo lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). The Sumo!
After the fight, The Sumo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Jo Smo spoke after the fight, saying 'pshhhh what Bull man I can beat that guy easy givme a rematch man '.
