Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Hennig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Lancier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hennig comes to the cage accompanied by Our Lady Peace - Whatever. Lancier has chosen Hate Me Now as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Hennig darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hennig connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Hennig moves out of range of the body kick from Lancier.
Hennig feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Lancier takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hennig lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lancier's sensitive parts.
Lancier connects with a looping right hand.
Hennig missing with a left hand there. Lancier was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hennig throws a big shot that misses.
Lancier throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hennig displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lancier throws out the jab.
Hennig throws a poor cross that misses
and Lancier connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lancier shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
We've been hearing reports that Hennig has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hennig throws a jab when Lancier was well out of range.
Lancier takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hennig attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hennig, as that shot connected.

Lancier takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hennig avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lancier pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hennig is out of range and Lancier settles back down.
A cross from Hennig lands.
Hennig throws a looping overhand right but Lancier ducks down to avoid it.
Hennig scores with a jab.
Lancier ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lancier connects with a jab.
Hennig feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lanciers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Lancier thumps Hennig with a low kick.
Hennig misses with a straight right.
Hennig jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lancier's corner calls for a 1-2. Lancier obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chris Hennig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hennig misses with a hook
and Hennig takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hennig is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hennig throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Hennig buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lancier moves out of range of the strikes.
Hennig digs a good hook to Lancier's body.
Hennig moves forwards but Lancier connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Hennig is rocked!
Lancier throws a monster overhand right that drops Hennig! Lancier follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
