Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jens Klandtman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bosco Beanington!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klandtman avoids the head kick by Beanington.

Klandtman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Beanington quickly recovers to half guard.
Klandtman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Klandtman stops Beanington from getting back to his feet.
Beanington is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Klandtman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Klandtman moves nicely into side control.
Beanington tries to buck Klandtman off but Klandtman is having none of it.
Beanington is trying to buck Klandtman off.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
We've been hearing that Klandtman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Beanington is trying to get back to his feet.

Klandtman slows the pace down.
Beanington is trying to improve his position.

Klandtman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Klandtman is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Beanington will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Beanington is pushing Klandtman's head away, looking to escape. Klandtman manages to hold on to the position though.
Klandtman just content to control the position.
Beanington tries to improve position but can't.
Beanington is not content to let Klandtman control the position.
Beanington sneaks back into half guard.

Beanington is trying to stand up here but Klandtman is controlling him well.

Klandtman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Beanington wants to get back to his feet.
Klandtman content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Klandtman prevents Beanington from standing back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Sloppy strikes from Beanington. Those never looked like landing.
Klandtman shoots in looking for a takedown but Beanington manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Klandtman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Beanington gets caught flat footed, as Klandtman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Klandtman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Beanington wants to stand and escape but Klandtman is having none of it.
Klandtman forces his way into half guard.
Klandtman tries to pass to full mount but Beanington defends it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Klandtman is working hard here to advance position.
Klandtman looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Beanington pushes Klandtman off looking to stand but Klandtman dives back in and keeps control.

Klandtman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Beanington is just riding it out for now. Klandtman eventually gives up the hold.
Klandtman seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jens Klandtman dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Klandtman closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Beanington's guard.

Beanington has his foot on Klandtman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Klandtman works his way back into a safe position though.

Beanington is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Klandtman rolls with it to try and escape but Beanington cranks on the arm and Klandtman is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
