Baako kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Acapella Soul - The Lion Sleeps Tonight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenova throws a fast counter high kick but Baako manages to duck under it in time.

Baako stalks Jenova and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jenova's face. Jenova staggers backwards, shaken.

Jenova is pulling down on Baako's head. It's preventing any offense from Baako, at least for the moment.

Baako stops Jenova from standing up.
Jenova has Baako pulled in close to control his posture.
Baako is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Baako is pushing down on Jenova's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jenova is fighting to maintain full guard but Baako has managed to sneak the leg through.

Jenova tries to kick Baako off but Baako keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Baako turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jenova works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Jenova tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Baako was well out of range. Poor timing from Jenova.
Jenova fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Baako is out of range.

Baako shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Jenova scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Baako misses with a two punch combination.
Baako throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A shot to the liver by Baako. Beautiful body shot.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Baako!

and Jenova counters with a body kick.
Baako is breathing heavily.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Jenova - that will leave a mark!
Jenova fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Baako.
Jenova tries to land a front kick but Baako steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Nice jab there from Jenova.
Jenova fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Baako to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Baako looks to clinch but Jenova throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Baako taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Holy Jenova!
Holy Jenova spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
In defeat, Baas Baako stepped up to the mic, saying 'That sucked!'.
