Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mac McNulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ying Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yang has chosen Diamond Eyes as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang catches McNulty with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Yang lands an overhand right.
Yang fakes the leg kick and cracks McNulty in the body.
Mac McNulty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yang throws a nice looking combination but McNulty bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Yang connects with a body shot that sends McNulty's belly button to the back.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Yang has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McNulty looks to land a right hand but Yang moved out of range.

Yang clobbers McNulty with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

McNulty shoots in and drives through. Yang sprawls well.
McNulty on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
McNulty swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McNulty scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Yang misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Yang counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Yang shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yang showed some decent athleticism there.

McNulty has one foot on Yang 's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Yang connects with a right hand. McNulty shakes it off.
McNulty moves out of range of the strikes.
McNulty doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
McNulty keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Yang lands a big head kick that sends McNulty tumbling to the mat! Yang takes a step backwards and waves McNulty back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looked like McNulty wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Yang feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending McNulty crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
