Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bich Nga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kanga Roos!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roos fails to land the takedown.

and Nga counters with an inside leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Roos.
Bich Nga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kanga Roos.
Nga stuns Roos with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

and Roos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Kanga Roos has been cut.
Roos fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Roos walks into a stiff left hand from Nga.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

enabling Nga to counter with a crisp jab.

Roos moves into the clinch successfully.
Nga lands a left hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nga gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Roos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Roos shoots in for a double leg but Nga sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Roos takes a jab right on the kisser.
That has opened up Kanga Roos's cut even more.
Roos walks straight into a right hand from Nga - that's dropped him! Nga jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Roos from any more punishment! Roos complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bich Nga!
