The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mundi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nice cross by Garcon.
Garcon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Garcon has been working on his boxing with his coaches at IMMA Gym of Elite ASS in the buildup to the fight.
A big left from Garcon misses.
Mundi wants to counter the offense by Garcon and move into the clinch position.
Garcon scores with a body shot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mundi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Garcon. Mundi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Garcon sets himself, and Mundi steps forward looking for the clinch! Garcon avoids it this time.

Garcon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Garcon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mundi's head backwards.
Garcon misses with a body kick.
Mundi wants to counter with a clinch but Garcon pushes him away.
Garcon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mundi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Garcon scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Mundi moves out of range of the body kick.
Mundi drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Garcon defends it well.
Garcon is looking to land body kicks.
Mundi tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
That kick from Garcon tenderised Mundi's leg. Mundi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jab, jab by Garcon - just one landing.

Garcon drops Mundi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mundi looks back up at him and smiles so Garcon waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Mundi is rocked!

Garcon lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Mundi - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Garcon!
