The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
KaSolomon has taken the fight to the clinch.
KaSolomon blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
KaSolomon lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
KaSolomon controlling the action here for a moment.
Venczel misses with a punch on the inside.
KaSolomon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Venczel pulls his leg out and moves away.
KaSolomon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Shaka KaSolomon has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
KaSolomon gets the takedown into side control.
Venczel prevents KaSolomon from improving position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Venczel lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
KaSolomon tries to escape but Venczel has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Venczel.
KaSolomon is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

KaSolomon breaks Venczel's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Venczel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

KaSolomon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Venczel's guard.
Venczel is trying to maintain the position but KaSolomon is very close to passing his half guard.

KaSolomon wants to control from the top but Venczel keeps moving.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
KaSolomon trying to control the position from guard on top but Venczel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

KaSolomon is fighting to break Venczel's control of his arms but Venczel is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
KaSolomon moves out of range of the strikes.
Venczel closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
KaSolomon is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Venczel is defending well.
KaSolomon tightens his grip and picks Venczel up, before dumping him to the ground. Venczel manages to land in guard.
Venczel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but KaSolomon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
KaSolomon is sitting in close to Venczel's body. Venczel has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! KaSolomon is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, KaSolomon is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Venczel.

Zsiga Venczel decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
