Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Axe Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otocanin Zmija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mouth for war. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zmija fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zmija walks into a jab.

Killer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Zmija to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Zmija wants to pass the guard but Killer is keeping the position.
Killer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zmija controls from within his opponent's guard.

Zmija drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zmija jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Zmija stands and throws Killer's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Killer takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zmija trying to control the action but Killer is working from the bottom.

Zmija has hold of Killer's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Killer seems comfortable defending it but Zmija has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Killer is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Killer is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Zmija couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Otocanin Zmija!
