Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jango Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fett has chosen "Till I Collapse" by Eminem as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fett lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Burton swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Burton gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Fett lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Burton backwards.

Fett breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Burton misses with a body shot
and Fett counters with a stiff right hand.

Burton moves forwards but Fett connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Fett blocks a jab.
Fett swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fett is looking to chop away at Burton's legs.
Fett jabs Burton to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Burton throws a head punch that misses.

Fett wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Fett blocks an elbow strike from Burton.
Burton tries to work over Fett's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Fett avoids a wild elbow strike from Burton.
Burton tries for a takedown. No joy.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Burton just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fett's brow.
Burton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fett walks away with a smile on his face. Burton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Burton throws a chopping leg kick but Fett manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Fett scores with the left hand. Burton knows he should have avoided that one.
Fett shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fett thows a left - swing and a miss!

Fett throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Burton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fett is in Burton's guard.

Fett got a little sloppy there for a moment and Burton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fett has managed to get both his arms back between Burton's legs - danger averted.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Fett postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Fett is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Burton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Fett is in close to Burton's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Fett throws a big elbow that misses.
Fett wants to control from the top but Burton keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fett is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Burton tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Burton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fett defends it easily.
Fett controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fett accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fett chips away with some ground and pound.
Fett in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fett working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Burton's head.

Fett avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fett postures up in Burton's guard and throws a big left but Burton blocks it.

Fett throws a big right hand that misses.
Fett must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fett lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Fett advances position into side control!
Burton tries to bench press Fett off him but Fett keeps the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fett is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Burton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jango Fett dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Burton throws a head kick but Fett moves out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Burton.
Fett jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Some wild striking there from Fett.
Burton throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Burton connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fett. Fett circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A clash of legs there as Fett blocks the low kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Fett! But no joy.
Burton moves in looking to clinch but Fett pushes him off.
Fett appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burton. Fett does a little dance to reset his feet.
Burton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fett shoots in for a takedown but Burton shows good takedown defense.
Fett blocks the body kick.
Fett throws a hook to the side of Burton's head but Burton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Burton lands a nice looking body kick.
Burton tries to move into range but Fett moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Burton misses with an uppercut. Fett saw that one coming.
Fett swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fett might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Burton tries to move into range but Fett moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Burton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Burton cracks the inside of Fett's front leg.
Burton scores with a head kick. Fett tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A low kick from Burton is predictable there
and Fett counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Fett throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Burton was covering up waiting for the punch and Fett finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fett's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Burton holds on and takes a little breather.
Fett wants to control from the top but Burton keeps moving.
Fett is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Burton pushes a forearm under Fett's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fett is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
