Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bartel Diakite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasile Alecsandri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diakite comes to the cage accompanied by Diamonds. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diakite gets the takedown into side control.
Diakite thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Diakite tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Alecsandri prevents Diakite from moving into mount.
Diakite is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Alecsandri has escaped the position, nice work there.
Diakite looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Alecsandri really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diakite. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diakite is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alecsandri is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Diakite tries to advance to mount but can't.
Diakite is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Alecsandri has escaped the position, nice work there.
Diakite tries for a kimura but Alecsandri is defending well.
Diakite works to advance to full mount. Alecsandri defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Diakite moves to the back.
Alecsandri is trying to get back to his feet but Diakite has full control of the position and if anything, Alecsandri has just worked his way into a worse spot.
