The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schokker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Makaki Iii to score with a decent uppercut.
Schokker throws an off balance right hand
and Makaki Iii counters with a nice uppercut.

and Makaki Iii counters with a crisp right hand that drops Schokker! Makaki Iii lets Schokker back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Schokker is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Schokker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Oh Schokker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Schokker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Makaki Iii counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Schokker out cold! What a finish! Makaki Iii is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
